Here you go...all about me on Christmas:)

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate!
Both! but not together:)

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
"Santa" doesnt come to our house, but the gifts will be wrapped and under the tree on Christmas morning.

3. Colored lights or white?
We have white on the tree and Colored on the front porch.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope ... there is no one here I want to Kiss under the Mistletoe!(at least not this year)

5. When do you put up decorations?
Thanksgiving weekend usually.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Sure, you would exclude the desserts! Ummmmmmm .... I guess it would be the corn casserole my Grandma makes, either that or the Rolls, though we beg for the rolls at every family get together!

7. What is your favorite holiday memory as a child?
Devotions as a family. Mom made it fun, each week we would put a new item in the Nativiy Scene. On the first Sunday in Advent we put up the stable and the cow.
The scond Sunday we put Mary, Joseph and the donkey in (Matt 1:18-25). The next week the Shepherds go in with the sheep and the Angel (Luke 2:8-20). The fourth Sunday the Wisemen and the camels go in with the Star (Matt2:1-12). Then on Christmas Eve the little baby Jesus gets laid in the manger (Luke 2:1-7). Now with so many families coming together we do this all on Christmas Eve and the youngest child gets to "find" baby Jesus and put Him in the manger, after all the families take turns reading the scripture.

8. Do you send Christmas cards/E-cards or both?
Regular snail mail if I am on top of things and they get out at all.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Christmas Eve now days with the "big family". Christmas day with our small family.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
Well, because daddy is going and I dont want to put it ALL up we have just the Kid friendly ornaments that Corban put on himself and a few new ones that mommy put on the top so they wont get broken :)

11. Snow! love it or dread it?
Both ... It is so beautiful when it is falling and the new unblemished snow just glistens. Just dont like to shovel or be in the cold.

12. Can you ice skate?
Yeah...but I think my behind gets more of a work out then the skates do:)

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Sadly no ....

14. What is the most important thing about the holidays to you?
Making sure we all understand the true meaning of the season.

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Pomanders!

17. What tops your Christmas tree?
A star that Corban didn't like so now nothing:)

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
Both?!

Not really ....

21. What do you want for Christmas?
My hubby to come home so we can start creating a sibbling for Corban! (whoops is that TMI?).

22. Do you attend a Christmas party?
Yep, LOVE The fellowship and the lights, not to mention the food!

23. Do you dress-up for Christmas Eve or Pj's.
Dress up for church and then casual at home.

24. Do you own a Santa hat?
Yes, "blushing" dont ask ....

25. Who do you normally spend Christmas with?
Usually my exteded Family on Christmas Eve, then a few of us that can get together again on Christmas day. This year .... who knows?????
